Free Digital Citizenship Curriculum
Common Sense Media provides teachers with free unit of instruction on Digital Citizenship. The 9-12 curriculum contains four units with multiple lessons per unit. Units and lessons are labeled by topic so it is easy to find the lessons you want to teach students. Checkology is a program with built in, self-guided lessons for students to learn how to separate fact from fiction in online media and research. Ask Ms. Smith to sign up your classes for a free account, select the lesson(s) you want students to explore, and give your students the skills they need to be an educated consumer of knowledge in today's age of fake news.
