Mission Statement

The Spaulding Library  mission is to empower students to be skillful 21st century learners, readers, researchers,  and ethical users of information and technology.

Hours
 Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3:30 PM

Collections
  • 24,000 books 
  • 1500 films
  • 300  graphic novels
  • 250 audio books plus free audio book downloads from Listen Up! Vermont
  • 60 ebooks
  • 40 magazines and journals
  • 20  subscription databases with fulltext articles available at school or from home
  • 10 student computers in the library and a 20-station digital classroom.
  • 5 newspapers
  • and 3 staff members who are here to help

Our Staff


Mrs. Linda McSweeney

Teacher/Librarian

Mrs. Mac obviously likes to read, is totally addicted to her iPod, and has been married to Mr. Mac. for over 30 years.  Together they have a teenage  daughter and an old dog who can steals tomatoes off the kitchen counter.

Mrs. Marilyn Gray
Library Assistant

Mrs. Gray's first career at Spaulding was as a PE teacher,  field hockey, and softball coach before she 'retired' and became the Circulation Assistant in the Library.  Mrs Gray loves reading, walking, and snowshoeing, and obviously students.
  

Mrs. Joan Shedd
Media Assistant

Mrs. Shedd has been a Spaulding paraeducator for 13 years (she's also a Spaulding grad!).   She enjoys kayaking and spending time with her family and friends.  She has 4 children and 4 grandchildren who keep her very busy.
